I found inspiration for this in chapter 22 in which Joan of Arc completely overwhelmes the opposing English army and drives them away in a daze. This total domination is similar to the overwhelming water mentioned in this poem.
Wafting Water
How water flows through the rocks
and strikes blows against the tree
which gives forth fruit of mind
and soul, and has wisdom
that none can notice or even
transpose in knowledge or understanding
Or even she and it and all, that
sees the destruction and tearing
at the concepts or they which
go and attempt the wills of whom
cascade the mountains blue
Thus far has gone or fallen
no one knows the fate of
guilty thieves who ent to
palaces of despair to meditate
and meddle the deeds of reeeds
reeds of happenings and doings
but of flexiblility and being known
too fragile to sustain the true fury
of the water that falls in the rain.
Let me know what you think :)
